Scholarship for Children of Coast Guard Officers and Children of Retired Coast Guard Officers

If you are the child of an active duty, retired, or active reserve Coast Guard officer or chief warrant officer, you are eligible to apply.
The scholarship is open to all children of Coast Guard officers, Coast Guard Chief Warrant Officers, active duty - reserve and retired. This is the scholarship that dependents of Coast Guard officers and retired officers may apply for in this award cycle
For the 2021 scholarship cycle, successful applicants can expect an award of $2,500.

The Coast Guard Foundation Delta Dental Spouse Scholarship is intended to assist non-military spouses of Enlisted Coast Guard members in ranks E3 - E6 pursuing a degree or certification related to oral health and wellness. Through a generous grant from Delta Dental to the Joint Military Coalition the Coast Guard Foundation can offer 10 - $2,000 scholarships to applicants pursuing professional development courses, licensing courses, certificates, certifications, and college and graduate level degrees from a nationally or regionally accredited institution. Scholarships will be in the amount of $2000 and are limited to one payment per calendar year. Scholarships will be awarded in the order in which they are received, provided all eligibility requirements have been met. In addition, priority will be given to spouses pursuing first degrees (associates and bachelors) and licenses/certifications.

The Fallen Heroes Scholarship Fund (Fallen Heroes) was established by John and Delinda Statts in memory of Mr. Statts’ parents, Captain Frederick Statts and his wife Sara. Captain Statts graduated from the CG Academy in 1936 and served with distinction for 30 years. He retired as Commanding Officer of the Training Center in Cape May, New Jersey. This scholarship benefits dependent children of CG members (enlisted and commissioned officers) who lost their life in CG land, air, or sea operations. An eligible dependent may apply for this scholarship any time during the year.
